Homebound
Homebound Parishioners: Our Lady of the Mountains would like to minister to our homebound parishioners. Are you or is someone you know homebound and unable to attend Mass? Would you/they like to receive the Holy Eucharist? We have Extraordinary Ministers who are ready to serve and bring the Eucharist to you. Our Clergy are also available to visit for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick. Please call the Parish Office and we’ll arrange for a visit.
Nursing Homes
Confined at home or in a nursing home? Please call 301-777-1750 so that the Sacraments may be brought and/or a visit arranged.
Hospital
If you are in the hospital be sure that your religion is listed as Catholic and a Hospital Eucharistic Minister will visit you every day. We have a group of dedicated Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who visit the hospital to distribute communion as well as Fr. Eric Gauchat, OFM Cap. who is our Catholic Health Care Chaplain. If you have a health emergency and you would like to speak to a priest call Fr. Eric at 301-707-9995.
Children’s Clothing Room
The Children’s Clothing Room is open on Wednesday’s from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the basement of the Faith Formation Center at Saint Mary. They are in need of sweatshirts and coats and they are always in need of sheets, blankets and comforters. Donations for the Clothing Room may be dropped off at the Parish Office.
